Navigation Aids
- The main navigation can be 'skipped over' (accesskey s).
- A Search facility is linked from every page (accesskey 8).
- A complete, dynamic site map is provided, linking to every page.
Links
- Most links have title attributes which describe the link in more detail
- Whenever possible, links are written to make sense out of context.
- Link text is never duplicated; two links with the same link text always point to the same address
- All links can be followed in any browser, even if scripting is turned off.
- There are no links that open new windows.
Visual & Structural Design
All visual design and typographic elements are controlled with Cascading Style Sheets.
- All measurements are defined in Ems, relative measurements allow browsers to set the base font size and scale text and layout appropriately.
